NSW: The NSW snow report for Sunday August 10, 2008
SYDNEY, Aug 10 AAP - The NSW snow report for Sunday, August 10, 2008:
THREDBO: Around 10cm across the mountain overnight with snow falls forecasted for the
entire day. A top of minus 5 degrees, with moderate to strong winds. All lifts and roads
open.
SELWYN: A firm and fast cover this morning is expected to soften once fresh snowfalls
arrive. Temperatures hovering around minus 3.5 degrees. All 12 lifts open, including a
toboggan slope. All roads open.
CHARLOTTE PASS: Lots of fresh snow after snowfalls all of yesterday, with widespread
snow also expected for the duration of today. A cool top of minus 3 degrees with strong
westerly winds. All five lifts operating.
PERISHER: Current snow adding to excellent cover with temperatures around minus 4 degrees.
Up to 48 lifts operating with snow and ice cautions on roads leading to the resort.
