Following its acquisition by Apax Partners and OMERS Capital Partners, Thomson Learning changed its name to Cengage Learning. According to CEO Ron Dunn, the new name suggests that the brands now called Cengage are at the "center of engagement" for customers worldwide. Those brands include Gale, South-Western, Heinle, Wadsworth, and Delmar Learning (www.cengage.com).
